Mr. Panici joined the Law Offices of Dennis G. Gianopolus, P.C., in 2009 as an associate attorney after having spent the previous three years as a legal assistant with the firm. Initially, Mr. Panici's practice was confined to matters of municipal law, including municipal prosecutions and defending municipalities in various forms of civil litigation. While Mr. Panici does maintain a vibrant municipal practice, his daily practice has expanded to include concentrations in Criminal defense work and DUI / traffic related issues, forcible detainer / eviction actions, select plaintiff's personal injury cases, and residential real estate closings.

Mr. Panici received his undergraduate education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, graduating in the top five percent of his class which earned him the distinguished honor of inclusion in the oldest and most prestigious honors society in America, Phi Beta Kappa. Some of Mr. Panici's other academic achievements include his nomination and membership in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, inclusion in the 2005-2006 National Dean's List and National Chancellor's List. His academic excellence in the field of Liberal Arts also earned him memberships in the Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society and the Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society.

Immediately after obtaining his B.A. from the University of Illinois, Mr. Panici moved to DeKalb, IL, to pursue his Juris Doctorate from the College of Law at Northern Illinois University. While attending law school, Mr. Panici pursued a course of study which emphasized criminal litigation as well business dealings and litigation. Such a course of study helped to lay the foundation for a well rounded attorney who understands the intricacies that exist in a wide range of practice areas. Mr. Panici graduated Cum Laude in 2006, and is still active within the NIU LAW community.

Mr. Panici currently serves on the Board of Directors of the South Suburban Bar Association, an organization dedicated to improving the condition of attorneys practicing in the south suburbs of Chicago. This organization awarded him a scholarship during his time as a law student. Mr. Panici is an active participant in various other professional associations, including the Justinian Society of Italian Lawyers and the Order Sons of Italy in America. He also maintains memberships with the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.

Mr. Panici is eager to assist you with all of your legal needs. He has handled criminal defense cases of varying degrees and he has an intimate knowledge of the world of civil litigation.
